Hey guys, just checking in.
I’m still here, and I’m still seeing many comments with success stories, which is good
. Just remember, I am active, and will do my best to answer queries, but don’t be too upset if I can’t, because some fixes require firmware upgrades which Orange havent released in a while.
Hopefully they will release one soon, with many fixes for the Livebox! Not likely, but still – one can hope.

Many thanks for the very useful info on the site, coundn’t have got my Canon MP610 working on my livebox without your instructions.
One problem I still have is that the 610 scanning facility doesn’t seem to work through the livebox, have used the search facilityon the site but without success. Can this be done? Appreciate any help.
Thanks

Hello Kirt, you can’t use any multidevice functionality at this time with the Livebox, sorry.

Hey hello,
just discovered your site. I’ve been a (originally Wanadoo, then Orange and now Online) Livebox user for a few years now – I never did anything more complicated than forward a port so your site is superb to learn some new stuff.
Just sorting out the Dynamic DNS.
I one small question regarding port forwarding. If I forward, say port 5010 to server 192.168.1.2 (my fixed IP main computer) does it also open that port up for other machines on the internal network like, say, my wife’s laptop on 192.168.1.4? If not is there a way to open a port to the entire internal network.
I though 192.168.1.0 would do it – but it won’t accept that.
cheers,
Matt

Matt, you will need to set up each computer individually, as one rule only applies to one internal IP address.

I keep having a problem when trying to set up the wireless, with any computer to my orange livebox, is it the wireless on the livebox, or PC or what? Thanks – DJ Vous .AKA. Mini_wizz .AKA. Ashley

Tom, thanks to finding your site by chance I have successfully connected my Lexmark 810 series printer to the livebox some two years after moving to Orange. But here’s the catch – no problem printing graphics and web link text, but normal black type face of any kind just distorts into illegible squashed lines of very faint text. The printer works perfectly on the normal USB cable. I have downloaded the latest printer driver to no avail. Any ideas?

Hi,
Has anyne else experienced their 2nd line functionaility through the livebox is no longer working? Mine suddenly stopped working in May 08 and has never worked since (despite many calls to Orange Tech Support). Any help would be much appreciated.

HI!!!
Orange sent me this “LiveBox” and their technicians are so smart that they can’t help me with the port forwarding thing, in fact, they were like “WHAT WHAT WHAT?!!! WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?!!”
I searched everywhere, even on this site, I can’t find EXACTLY how to do it, I have a server that can’t be connected to the internet because of this.
My stupid software’s information
Name: F@st3202
version and reference: 3202WINT_240336
Please someone help me

Just moved an finally have a place for my printer next to my livebox and remembered the helpful live printer setup on this site – up and running in 5 minutes – this site is a great help and I am sure there are many people still happily using the livebox and therefore this site. Thanks Tom
