Assuming everything works for an USB printer attached to your Livebox, as per your various articles, do you know that you can easily connect a (Wi-Fi) Pocket PC, running MS Windows Mobil 6, directly to a LiveBox USB printer, without the need for a host PC, on using a utility such as JETCET PRINT (http://www.westtek.com/pocketpc/)? Check it out first with a 15-day trial. Setup is easier than for a PC with: JETCET PRINT 5 > Add Network Printer > 192.168.1.1

There is no software that you can use alongside the Livebox for VOIP Calls at this time.

    Maybe look into using Skype?

I have used the Livebox for many years with no problems, however, I recently bought a Lexmark X4650 wireless printer and although the setup software from Lexmark ’sees’ the connection the printer and livebox will not connect – is anyone else having a similar problem. Any help would be received with gratitude.

    Hi,
Had my livebox for 18 months, but the wireless signal strength is poor and intermittent, so I’ve just purchased some solwise homeplug AV ethernet-over-mains adapters.

One is connected to the Livebox via the yellow ethernet socket and the other two into the network ports on two PCs.

However, after a a brief period of access to the internet from one PC and and even briefer period from the other, they’ve both stopped reponding and tell me ‘Limited or no connectivity’ – The problem occurred because the network did not assign a network address.

Should I be able to get two internet sessions via the yellow port?

I am trying to set up my Livebox in France (Live box F60A) for wireless connections. I have internet via the Ethernet connection

Presently, the Livebox is not transmitting a WiFi signal.

I have tried turning the WiFi on via the config’ page but no joy. Other than re-setting the box back to its original settings is there anything else that can be tried?

    Hi,

I wonder if you can help…

I have recently got my livebox from orange.

I am having a terrible time trying to connect via wifi. I have set up the wifi and all the lights are green. I can browse the web when my laptop is connected via the ethernet cable. However when I try to connect my PC to the wifi (which it is picking up) it always fails. We have 4 laptops in the house, 3 Macs, 1 PC and I am having issues with all of them, however the Macs connect for a minute or 2 and then disconect, whereas the PC just doesnt connect. I am not familiar with Liveboxs at all, and I am aware there is a wifi button on it, but I’m not sure if i should press it, or the purpose it serves. When connected via ethernet, i can see 8 devices conected to the wifi (livebox.com) but we only have 4 laptops, so I’m not sure what the other devices are.
It would appear the livebox is regecting the laptops from connecting, possibly a security feature or an issue with settings?
Any help would be much appreciated.

    Thanks.

Just stumbled across this site, hope someone can help me….recently purchased an Apple Airport Express and it won’t connect with my Orange Livebox. I doubt it’s a reception problem as it won’t even conmnect line-of-sight in the same room. I’ve tried it both in and out of pairing mode and no luck….any ideas?
